|What are the following steps after receiving a Red Card?|
| ||Firstly, the referee will take your player card. The card and a report of the incident is provided to the league by the referee.
The league will then contact you "the player" the following Monday/Tuesday to discuss options and/or a hearing date. All hearings are held Saturdays.
There will be a review from the league's Discipline Committee (which consists of a minimum three appointed individuals). They will review all the facts/information provided by all parties involved. Once completed you will be advised via email within a couple of days of decision.|
|Am I "the player" able to bring my team Manager or Coach to a Discipline hearing?|
| ||Yes, you may have either one attend.|
|Can a Manager or Coach be ejected from a game and what is the disciplinery action?|
| ||Yes, a Manager or Coach can be ejected by the referee.
The same discipline steps taken for players are taken for Managers or Coaches. However, no matter what the circumstance there is an automatic $50 fine to these individuals when ejected.|
|If a player receives three yellow cards in one season?|
| ||When a player receives three yellow cards in one season, this will cause an automatic one game suspension.
The player will be advised by the league to sit out their next played soccer game.
Our Head Referee will be notified of the suspended player. In turn she will inform the game referee this individual is suspended and not able to play the game. Once the league is notified by the game referee the player did not participate, she then is authorized to continue with all future games of the season.|
|Who do I contact if my home field is not playable?|
| ||If you are the home team it is your responsibility to check the field conditions and notify the scheduler. The scheduler will then post it on the website and notify the other teams and referee of your decision.
|When do the seasons start and finish?|
| ||The Fall season starts in September and ends depending how your team does at the end of March. The Spring season runs for the month of May and June. You can check the calendar on the MWSL website when the registration is open for teams and players.
Generally, Fall team registratin occurs in June. Spring Team Registration occurs in February.
|How much does it cost to register a team?|
| ||To registera a team for the fall Season it is $315 for an existing team and $415 for a new team.|
|How do I find a team to play on?|
| ||If you register into our forum link you can search for teams looking for players or post information about yourself such as your skill level and where you are looking for a team.|
|How do players Register?|
| ||When player registration is open, your coach/manager will notify you that it is open. They will also send you a key code that you will need to use to register for your specific team. If you are new to the league you will need to upload a photo when prompted and a card will be printed.|
|How much does it cost to play soccer?|
| ||To register with the MWSL it is $40. However, each club or team has their own fees for players that we do not determine. These fees go toward fields, referees or what your individual club or team collects fees for.|
|What division should I register my team for.|
| ||For new teams you can choose which division you would like to enter and depending on the space available will determine whether there is room.
Teams that won their divison the previous year will be promoted and should register a division higher.
Teams that came last in their division will be relegated and will need to register one division down.
We also have two U-21 divisions and three over 30 divisions that you may want to register in.
